Hand Cut Rabbet (Rebate) Ep 36 Learning Handtool Woodworking

Exercise 74 of the Teacher's Handbook of Sloyd is the Rebate joint, or as we say in the US Rabbet. We use the end grain rabbet to help hide the long grain rabbet used for a recessed panel.
