Paul deals with the authenticity and vindication of his apostleship in 2nd Corinthians 11. We compare his comments in the first portion of the chapter of being betrothed as a chaste virgin to Christ with what Paul said in Romans chapter 7 about being dead to the Law and being alive to God through Christ Jesus in order to bear "spiritual fruit" to God.
Paul addresses those who opposed him in Corinth and shared his experiences of suffering for Christ as an evidence of his faithfulness and commission as an apostle. He ends the chapter saying that he would rather boast in his infirmities, which will lead us into the experience he shares with us in chapter 12
