Mario Power Tennis, released in 2004 for the Nintendo GameCube, is a fast-paced and engaging arcade-style tennis game developed by Camelot Software Planning and published by Nintendo. As a sequel to the Nintendo 64's Mario Tennis, it builds upon the classic gameplay with enhanced graphics, new mechanics, and power moves unique to each character. Players can choose from a diverse cast of Mario franchise characters, each with their own strengths, weaknesses, and signature "Power Shots" that add an extra layer of excitement to the matches. The game offers various courts, some of which feature interactive hazards and gimmicks, making each match dynamic and unpredictable.

In addition to standard singles and doubles matches, Mario Power Tennis features special game modes, including fun minigames that test players’ skill and reflexes in creative ways. The Tournament Mode allows players to progress through different skill levels, while multiplayer mode provides competitive fun with friends. The game was later re-released as part of the New Play Control! series on the Wii, adding motion controls.
