Wartime Reflections: Alex Moore (Operation Iraqi Freedom)

A few weeks back, we took a trip out to the east coast to sit down with Alex "Moose" Moore. Alex served in the United States Marine Corps and saw heavy fighting during the Second Battle of Fallujah in 2004. During the interview, we discuss his experiences during the battle, and how jiu-jitsu has helped him stay centered after his time in service.

Alex was incredible to deal with throughout this process and I can't say that loud enough. I could tell from our initial phone call that he was a good man and someone I'd like to have in my circle. Alex was not only kind enough to let us film in his home, he also drive us to his jiu-jitsu gym, let me train with his competition team (aka get smoked for an hour), and took us to the airport.

Elijah and I are beyond grateful to have met men like Alex Moore on our journey to share the stories of our nation's veterans with the world.
