Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been charged as the primary suspect in the killing of 848 people during last year's uprising.

It's been six months since Muhammad Yunus and his interim government took her place, after 16 years of PM Sheikh Hasina's tight control.

She fled to India while under investigation for crimes against humanity, leaving behind deeply politicized institutions that must now be rebuilt.
