Shadow and Thunder

In the depths where shadows dwell,
Far from the heavens that praise and tell,
I rule the night, the earth’s deep core,
While he basks in worship, adored evermore.

They fear my name, curse my reign,
But who chose this fate, who cast this chain?
Brother of lightning, crowned in the sky,
While I wear darkness, where echoes die.

Zeus with his thunder, glory and light,
I was condemned to the endless night,
He claims the skies, the praise, the fame,
While I bear the burden, carry the blame.

He split the world with selfish hands,
Left me to rule these shadowed lands,
I guard the dead, the lost, the past,
Yet to him, the power, the love that lasts.

They fear my name, curse my reign,
But who chose this fate, who cast this chain?
Brother of lightning, crowned in the sky,
While I wear darkness, where echoes die.

Zeus with his thunder, glory and light,
I was condemned to the endless night,
He claims the skies, the praise, the fame,
While I bear the burden, carry the blame.

They call me villain, ruler of dread,
Yet I keep balance among the dead,
Unseen, unsung, I stand my ground,
In shadows where truth is rarely found.

Zeus with his thunder, glory and light,
I was condemned to the endless night,
He claims the skies, the praise, the fame,
While I bear the burden, carry the blame.

Brother, crowned above so high,
Would you survive where shadows lie?
In this realm, I make my throne,
King of the lost, ruler alone.
