Gino Recchia NBC26 Storm Shield Weather Forecast
After one of the largest snow storms ever in the history in Green Bay occurred last spring, we all needed a break from the winter weather and we did get just about 6 months of it, to be exact, 181 days of snow free weather happened here, but last night, the snow drought came to an end at 10:53 PM the Austin Straubel Airport recorded snowfall. Not to worry though, the shovels are not needed anytime soon. Â Its been a chilly day behind the cold front that passed through the area last night, we only climbed into the upper 40s and lower 40s across the area today and tonight will be another cold one, especially for the Packers game against the 49ers. Kickoff temperatures will likely be in the mid to upper 30s and then by the time the game ends, we could see temperatures just a few degrees above the freezing mark. Â Tonight, low temperatures will dip near and below freezing but milder weather is ahead tomorrow. Another storm system is going to move through first with a warm front. This will rise our temperatures into the upper 40s to near 50 degrees during the day, but then a cold front will pass through and drop our values down to near and below freezing again. Wednesday will be another chilly one with highs in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Â Thursday and Friday are shaping up to be the warmest day for the week, topping in the mid and upper 50s, which should be around our normal high temperatures around this time of year.
