Vital Verse: If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. (1 John 1:6-7).

Nugget to Nibble: Violating the word of God creates a distance from the presence and power of God. Scriptures establish standards for dwelling in the presence of God. Psalm 15 establishes the theological notion of abiding in the presence of God:
1 O Lord, who may abide in Your tent?
Who may dwell on Your holy hill?
2 He who walks with integrity, and works righteousness,
And speaks truth in his heart.
3 He does not slander with his tongue,
Nor does evil to his neighbor,
Nor takes up a reproach against his friend;
4 In whose eyes a reprobate is despised,
But who honors those who fear the Lord;
He swears to his own hurt and does not change;
5 He does not put out his money at interest,
Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things will never be shaken (Psalm 15:1-5)

Abiding within the sphere of the holy will guarantee select power and protection to overcome the powers of darkness.
