The HID-22SL-HR 1000 watt metal halide light produces exceptional illumination using a 22” aluminum reflector housing that spreads a powerful flood pattern of high quality light over large areas. This fixture is equipped with a 1000 watt metal halide lamp which produces powerful illumination and good color rendering. The ballast in this unit is a hot restrike design which allows this lamp to be switched on at full power after being shut off instead of needing the warm up period usually associated with metal halide lamps. This hot restrike capability makes this unit ideal for applications where maintaining full power illumination is critical and downtime after shutoffs needs to be reduced as much as possible.
