First Person February! Time Splitters!

Here we go into First Person February with our FPS themed games! Today we're looking at the PS2 legend: Time Splitters!

TimeSplitters is a first-person shooter video game developed by Free Radical Design and published by Eidos Interactive for the PlayStation 2. It was released as a launch title for the PlayStation 2 on October 26, 2000, in North America and November 24, 2000, in Europe.

In August 2024, the complete TimeSplitters trilogy was added to the PlayStation Plus game catalog for PS Plus Premium members.

The game's story mode can be played alone or cooperatively with one additional player and focuses on players seeking to resolve personal matters involving their foes, which brings them into contact with an alien race known as the TimeSplitters.

TimeSplitters is often considered a spiritual successor to GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark, due to overlapping elements in gameplay, design, and development team.
