Our area will be in the warm sector of this approaching storm system today with scattered showers and T'storms redeveloping as the day wears on. It will be mild and a little humid for this time of year with highs in the 70s to around 80° with much cooler conditions well off to the north. More showers and T'storms are in the forecast as we head through the night tonight. Some of these storms could produce some locally heavy rainfall falling on what is already saturated soil. Overnight lows will be mild with lows bottoming out around 60. Showers and thunderstorms will stick around through Wednesday as a cold front approaching. Some of the storms could bring some locally heavy rainfall. By late Wednesday night when this finally moves out, rainfall totals over parts of the area could total more than 2-3 inches, especially to the northwest. Highs Wednesday will top out around 70. The wind cranks up on Wednesday night as the showers move out. Overnight lows will be in the low-40s. Much colder and windy weather returns on Thursday with highs in the 40s.
