Apatros Review Ep-0131: Single White Female 2: The Psycho [2005]

AR-0131: Sony Pictures spent the mid-2000s producing cheap sequels to just about every IP they had in their collection, issuing these DTV [direct-to-video], which resulted in DVD collectors and movie fans to have more than their fair share of options, despite most of these cheap movies not being particularly good.

In this case, Sony got the writers of the three DTV sequels to "Wild Things" to write a script for a sequel to the early 1990s psycho thriller "Single White Female", resulting in a very pale retread of the plot of the first film, but without the nasty sleazy touch that original film had.

My Grade: D+ [Disappointing]
