Lunar New Year, also known as Thuong Nguyen Tet (January Full Moon Festival), is a traditional holiday of Chinese people living in Ho Chi Minh City, held on the full moon day of the first lunar month every year. This Tet is considered the second most important day after the Lunar New Year.
The Nguyen Tieu Festival is held annually to contribute to preserving and promoting cultural values, spiritual values, and solidarity between Vietnamese and Chinese people and other ethnic groups in the Vietnamese ethnic community.
