I Was Advised To STAY INDOORS During This ARCTIC BLAST 🥶

We had an arctic blast come through the Pacific Northwest; the national weather service made an advisement to stay indoors. I make a living removing snow... it snowed.

"With the extreme cold... frost bite and hypothermia will occur much faster." I made to sure wear plenty of layers to protect myself from the cold.

With snow removal being my source of income & 8 clients expecting service, I could not just stay indoors and wait it out. This blast lasted a whole week with days being around 10°F and nights reaching -10°F.

"Portions of the region will also see dangerous wind chills of minus ten to minus 20 early this morning and again on Friday." Yes, I can definitally agree that this statement is correct. The wind was so cold that it made breathing hard at times.

On top of that, we had a few snow showers to cover the icy conditions. That means I still had to go out and remove snow regardless of how cold or how windy it was.

If you ever find yourself in an arctic blast, remember to always stay inside at all times (if possible) and make sure to follow safety precautions from your local weather advisory.
