Conflict is inevitable, but suffering from it is not. Anger, once invited into the heart, does not stay contained—it spreads like ink in water, coloring our perceptions and clouding our peace. When we refuse to carry resentment, we become like the uninjured hand: capable of encountering negativity without being harmed by it.

Hatred only thrives when it finds fertile ground. Those who meet hostility with kindness disrupt the cycle of harm, allowing peace to take root. Choosing not to engage in anger is not submission; it is mastery. It means reclaiming one’s own well-being instead of allowing another’s bitterness to dictate one’s inner state.

Try something simple next time frustration arises: pause, take a deep breath, and recognize that you hold the power to defuse the moment. Will you absorb the negativity or let it pass through you? The choice is yours—let wisdom, not reaction, guide you.
