Speaker Johnson Says Budget Markup Expected to Begin Thursday

House Republican leaders held a news conference on President Donald Trump's legislative agenda and executive actions in the first 100 days of his second term. In regard to President Trump's executive orders, Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said he agreed "wholeheartedly" with Vice President JD Vance's recent remarks that challenged judges' authority to check executive power.
