The Forgotten Heritage of Black People

Rebekah was Abraham's great-niece, the granddaughter of Abraham's brother, Nahor and the wife of Abraham's son, Isaac -- Isaac and Rebekah were cousins. Rebekah gave birth to two nations: the Edomites and the Israelites (Genesis 25:20-28), but the blessing spoken upon her and her descendants in Genesis 24:60 applies first and foremost to the Israelites; it is also reminiscent of the blessing YAH spoke upon Abraham in Genesis 22:17 "...in blessing I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;" As confirmed in Deuteronomy 32:9 and throughout the Bible, "YAH's portion is His people (Israel); Jacob is the lot of His inheritance." The Israelites are the chosen seed of Abraham, the sons and daughters of YAH, the children of the Kingdom, but because they have rejected YAH, YAH has rejected them. Hosea 4:6 "My people (Israel) are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge, I (YAH) will also reject you, that you shall be no priest to Me: seeing you have forgotten the Law of your Father, I will also forget your children. As they were increased, so they sinned against Me: therefore will I change their glory into shame." Forgetting YAH and His Law has caused Israel to forget themselves and discontinue from their own heritage; this is a fact stated numerous times in scripture:

Jeremiah 17:4 "...you (Israel), even yourself, shall discontinue from your heritage that I gave you; and I will cause you to serve your enemies in the land which you know (knew) not: for you have kindled a fire in Mine anger, which shall burn for ever."

Hosea 3:4-5 "...the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim: afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek YAH their Father, and David their king; and shall fear YAH and His goodness in the latter days."

Scripture says that the Israelites would be scattered throughout the world as captives/slaves (i.e. the Transatlantic Slave Trade, etc.) and forget who they are, but while in exile in the lands of their enemies, they will remember YAH and who they are. Zechariah 10:9 "...I (YAH) will sow them (the Israelites) among the people: and they (the Israelites) shall remember Me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again." The Israelites are "YAH's hidden ones" and are referred to as such in Psalms 83:1-5 "Keep not You silence, O YAH: hold not Your peace, and be not still, O YAH. For, lo, Your enemies (the gentiles) make a tumult: and they that hate You have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, and consulted against Your hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against You:" This is why scriptures like Psalms 30:4 tell us to "give thanks at the remembrance of His (YAH's) holiness." The nations/gentiles are the enemies of YAH and His chosen people, Israel (Numbers 24:8); this is why the world hates YAH and the black slave descendants/the Israelites. Deuteronomy 4:27-31 "...YAH shall scatter you (Israel) among the nations, and you shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither YAH shall lead you. And there you shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. But if from thence you shall seek YAH your Father, you shall find Him, if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. When you are in tribulation, and all these things are come upon you, even in the latter days, if you turn to YAH your Father, and shall be obedient unto His voice; (for YAH your Father is a merciful Father;) He will not forsake you, neither destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He sware unto them."
