Wednesday Evening Bible Study Women in the Bible 2-12-2025

We conclude our look at the women in the genealogy of Jesus today with Mary, Jesus' Mother. We read various verses from:
Luke 1 and 2
Mathew 1 and 2
Matthew 13
Mark 6
Matthew 27
Acts 1
Mary is referenced in each of these passages and a few others. These passages also reference Mary's other children, the siblings of the Lord Jesus Christ. We also discuss that the Wise Men who came to visit worshiped only the baby Jesus and not Mary.
We look at the passages in a chronological sequence and find that Mary is there at the Cross when Jesus was crucified, and she was also in the upper room with the other Christ followers in prayer after Jesus' ascension.
