Ireland defeated Zimbabwe by 63 runs in one off test match at Bulawayo.

One Off Test match between Zimbabwe and Ireland at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo from 6th To 10th February, 2025.
In this test match Ireland captain Andrew Balbirnie won the toss and opted to bat and were restricted to 260 runs in 57.4 overs.
Andy McBrine remained not out on 90 runs fell short of partners and could not score his maiden test hundred.
Mark Adair made 78 runs, Lorcan Tucker made 33 runs. Blessing Muzarabani bowled superbly and took 7 wickets, two wickets were taken by Ngarava and one wicket by Trevor Gwandu.
In reply Zimbabwe could manage to 267 runs and took slender lead of 7 runs.
Nick Welch top scored with 90 runs, Blessing Muzarabani 47 runs and Madhevere contributed 26 runs.
For Ireland Barry McCarthy took 4 wickets, Three wickets by Andy McBrine, two wickets by Mark Adair and one wicket went to Matthew Humphreys.
Ireland in their 2nd Innings made 298 runs and gave winning target of 292 runs to win.
Lorcan Tucker made 58 runs, Andrew Balbirnie made 66 runs, Stirling made 21 runs and Curtis Campher made 39 runs.
Ngarava took 4 wickets, two wickets each were taken by Trevor Gwandu and Madhevere. One wicket each was taken by Muzarabani and Johnathan Campbell.
Chasing target of 292 runs to win Zimbabwe were restricted to 228 runs and lost the match by 63 runs.
Wessly Madhevere tried to win and top scored with 84 runs, Brain Bennett made 45 runs, Johnathan Campbell made 33 runs.
Matthew Humphreys took 6 wickets, 2 wickets were taken by Barry McCarthy and one wicket each went to Mark Adair and Andy McBrine.
Ireland won the one off test by 63 runs.
Andy McBrine was adjudged the Player of the Match.
