Limited Optics USPSA at Total Defense - Jan. 13th, 2025

Fixed some things from the last match, mainly my grip. In the previous matches I attempted to transition faster by gripping harder with my firing hand to manage recoil. Not to fight it, but to manage it. Come to find out this was the wrong thing to do. Gripping the gun harder with my firing hand made recoil more unpredictable with a weird bounce but I ended up being less accurate, pushing the gun to the left when firing.

This match I went back to my much more relaxed but firm grip pressures and overall felt it behaved much more predictably.

I did end up getting a procedural for extra shot, extra hit on the 3rd stage. I knew when I fired the shot I had fired too many.

Now to just trust my eyes to guide the gun and move through the stage faster.
