- **Milk** – ½ cup
- **Ghee or Butter** – ¼ cup (melted)
- **Egg** – 1
- **Vanilla essence** – 1 tsp
- **Almonds** – 8-10 (for decoration)
#### **For the Sugar Syrup:**
- **Water** – 1 cup
- **Sugar** – 1 cup
- **Lemon juice** – 1 tbsp
- **Rose water (optional)** – 1 tsp

### **Instructions:**
#### **1. Prepare the Cake Batter:**
1. Preheat the oven to **180°C (350°F)**. Grease and flour a baking dish (approximately 8x8 inches).
2. In a large bowl, mix **semolina**, **all-purpose flour**, **coconut**, **sugar**, and **baking powder**.
3. Add **yogurt**, **milk**, **melted ghee (or butter)**, **egg**, and **vanilla essence**. Mix everything until smooth and well combined.
4. Pour the cake batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
5. Decorate the top with **almonds** and gently press them into the batter.
#### **2. Bake the Cake:**
1. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for **30-35 minutes** or until it turns golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
2. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool for **10 minutes** in the pan.
#### **3. Prepare the Sugar Syrup:**
1. While the cake is baking, prepare the sugar syrup. In a saucepan, combine **water**, **sugar**, and **lemon juice**.
2. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for **5-7 minutes** until the syrup thickens slightly.
3. Add **rose water** (optional) and stir. Let the syrup cool.
#### **4. Soak the Cake:**
1. Once the cake is out of the oven, pour the cooled sugar syrup evenly over the hot cake. Allow the syrup to soak into the cake.
2. Let the cake cool completely so that it absorbs all the syrup.
