Cancelled Philosopher comments on Post-Structuralist Christian philosopher, John Caputo's book called "Heidegger and Aquinas," in which Caputo examines Heidegger's concept of being and Aquinas's metaphysics. Heidegger was a 20th century philosopher of phenomenology and metaphysics, while Aquinas was a 13th century Catholic theologian. In the book, Caputo explains Heidegger's thoughts on Plato's Allegory of the Cave. Plato is of course, the ancient Greek philosopher who arguably created the philosopher, Socrates, and wrote dialogues with Socrates as the questioner.
