Illegal Migrant Smuggling Ring Busted At Texas Hotel, Violent Venezuelan Gang Member Arrested

Border Patrol Agents busted a human smuggling operation at a hotel in El Paso, Texas - according to Border Patrol Chief Michael W. Banks

13 illegal migrants from Mexico, Ecuador and Guatemala were arrested as well as the four smugglers.

The migrants were processed for removal, and the smugglers will now face prosecution.

In a separate incident, border agents seized fake green cards from a mobile home in Las Cruces, New Mexico, they suspect was being used as a migrant stash house.

Banks saying,

“Smugglers exploit various locations – hotels, stash houses, even trucks – overcrowding and endangering lives solely for profit”

In addition, border patrol agents in El Paso arrested a known member of the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Agua who is now being shipped back to Venezuela.
