RAK Summary: Feast of Tabernacles - Scripture Verses
Read by Jacob - @GospelofRAK

Exodus 23:14-16
14 Three times every year you shall celebrate feasts to me.
15 You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Seven days shall you eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, in the time of the month of new corn [grain], when you did come forth out of Egypt: you shall not appear empty before me.
16 And the feast of the harvest of the first fruits [Pentecost] of your work, whatsoever you have sown in the field. The feast also in the end of the year, when you have gathered in all your corn out of the field [Feast of Tabernacles].
Thrice a year shall all your males appear before the Lord your
God.

Leviticus 23:33-43
33 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
34 Say to the children of Israel: From the 15th day of this same 7th month, shall be kept the feast of tabernacles seven days to the Lord.
35 The first day shall be called most solemn and most holy: you shall do no servile work therein. And 7 days you shall offer holocausts to the Lord.
36 The eighth day also shall be most solemn and most holy,
and you shall offer holocausts to the Lord: for it is the day of assembly and congregation: you shall do no servile work therein.
37 These are the feasts of the Lord, which you shall call most
solemn and most holy...
38 Besides the sabbaths of the Lord, and your gifts, and those things that you offer by vow, or which you shall give to the Lord voluntarily.
39 So from the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you shall have gathered in all the fruits of your land, you shall celebrate the feast of the Lord seven days: on the first day and the eighth shall be a sabbath, that is, a day of rest.
40 And you shall take to you on the first day the fruits of the
fairest tree, and branches of palm trees, and boughs of thick
trees, and willows of the brook and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God.
41 And you shall keep the solemnity thereof seven days in the year. It shall be an everlasting ordinance in your generations [implies posterity must keep also not just they]. In the seventh month shall you celebrate this feast.
42 And you shall dwell in bowers [def: a place enclosed by
overhanging boughs of trees] seven days: everyone who is of the race of Israel, shall dwell in tabernacles:
43 That your posterity may know, that I made the children of Israel to dwell in tabernacles, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.

Tabernacle def: 1. A temporary shelter; 2. the human body considered as the dwelling place of the soul [Peter used it in the sense of a dwelling place of the spirit and soul at 2 Pet 1:13-14) & Paul refers to the body as a tent (2 Cor 5:4)]

Numbers 29:12, 35
12 And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month [Feast of Tabernacles], which shall be unto you holy and venerable, you shall do no servile work, but shall celebrate a solemnity to the Lord seven days.
35 On the eighth day, which is most solemn, you shall do no servile work:

Deuteronomy 16:13-17
13 You shall celebrate the solemnity also of tabernacles seven days, when you have gathered in your fruit of the barn floor and of the wine press.
14 And you shall make merry in your festival time ...
15 Seven days shall you celebrate feasts to the Lord your God in the place which the Lord shall choose: and the Lord your God will bless you in all your fruits, and in every work of your hands, and you shall be in joy.
16 Three times in a year shall all your males appear before the Lord your God in the place which he shall choose: in the feast of unleavened bread, in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles. No one shall appear with his hands empty before the Lord:
17 But everyone shall offer according to what he has, according to the blessing of the Lord his God, which he shall give him.

Deuteronomy 31:9-12
9 And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it to the priests the sons of Levi, who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and to all the ancients of Israel.
10 And he commanded them, saying: After seven years, in the year of remission, in the feast of tabernacles,
11 When all Israel come together, to appear in the sight of the Lord your God in the place which the Lord shall choose, you shall read the words of this law before all Israel, in their hearing.
12 And the people being all assembled together, both men and women, children and strangers, that are within your gates: that hearing they may learn, and fear the Lord your God, and keep, and fulfil all the words of this law:
