Goya is a 1985 Spanish-Italian co-production television miniseries directed by José Ramón Larraz. Audio in Spanish with English subtitles (hardcoded).

The dramatic six-part series tells the story of the Spanish painter Francisco Goya, who was born in 1746 and spent his childhood in Fuendetodos, a small village near Zaragoza. In 1824, fearing persecution by the new Spanish government, he moved to Bordeaux, where he died a few years later.

Each episode is focused on a separate period of the work and life of the great artist, as well as the historical time period.

Episode 1: The painter Francisco de Goya began his career in the Luzán and Bayeu workshops on his rise to the court of Madrid.
