The Sage’s Truth

Footsteps fade but wisdom stays,
Written in the wind, carved in the clay.
The sun may rise, the moon may wane,
But truth remains through joy and pain.

Not in riches, not in might,
But in silence, clear as night.
The path is long, the road is steep,
But those who seek are those who keep.

Oh, the sage speaks soft and low,
Where the restless dare not go.
Through the fire, through the stone,
Wisdom waits for those alone.

A kingdom falls, a name is lost,
But wisdom never pays the cost.
It waits in trees, it hums in air,
For those who listen, those who care.

Not in riches, not in might,
But in silence, clear as night.
The path is long, the road is steep,
But those who seek are those who keep.

Oh, the sage speaks soft and low,
Where the restless dare not go.
Through the fire, through the stone,
Wisdom waits for those alone.

Not all who wander lose their way,
Some are learning what to say.
Not all who wait are left behind,
Some are shaping peace of mind.

So I walk, and so I learn,
Every page, the past still turns.
For wisdom’s voice will never fade,
It echoes on where sages stayed.
