The Sage’s Silence

The river speaks, yet makes no sound,
The sun still shines when it turns around.
The oak tree stands, though leaves may fall,
For time remembers, time knows all.

Not in thunder, not in cries,
But in silence wisdom lies.
Not in haste and not in steel,
But in knowing what is real.

Oh, the sage walks slow and still,
Moving not by force, but will.
Not in power, not in fame,
But in the whisper of a name.

A castle crumbles, kings depart,
Yet wisdom lingers in the heart.
Not in gold and not in stone,
But in the truths we’ve always known.

Not in thunder, not in cries,
But in silence wisdom lies.
Not in haste and not in steel,
But in knowing what is real.

Oh, the sage walks slow and still,
Moving not by force, but will.
Not in power, not in fame,
But in the whisper of a name.

Some may run, some may hide,
Some may chase the turning tide.
But those who wait, those who see,
Find the path to being free.

So I walk with steady breath,
Fearing neither life nor death.
For wisdom’s voice is never loud,
Yet it stands above the crowd.
