The Sage’s Light

The mountain stands, the river flows,
Time will teach what no one knows.
The sky may change, the stars may roam,
But wisdom always finds its home.

Not in battle, not in gold,
Not in stories often told.
The quiet ones, the patient few,
Hold the light that guides us through.

Oh, the sage walks where time stands still,
Learning not by force, but will.
Through the dark, through the storm,
Wisdom keeps the fire warm.

Footprints fade but words remain,
Carved in echoes, sung in rain.
Not in thunder, not in might,
But in knowing wrong from right.

Not in battle, not in gold,
Not in stories often told.
The quiet ones, the patient few,
Hold the light that guides us through.

Oh, the sage walks where time stands still,
Learning not by force, but will.
Through the dark, through the storm,
Wisdom keeps the fire warm.

Seasons turn and kingdoms fall,
But truth will rise above it all.
Not in haste and not in pride,
But in the stillness found inside.

So I walk this road alone,
Knowing I am never gone.
For the light that sages leave,
Shines in all who still believe.
