Today we went to Helvacıoğlu Dessert Hall in Güngören Köyiçi, Istanbul. We witnessed the production processes of Lokma, Taş Kadayif, Sarma, Trileçe, Cream Bread Dessert, Şöbiyet, Burma Kadaif, Pistachio Baklava and Walnut Baklava. One of the most important parts of Turkish street food is of course excellent desserts. Special dough, various sherbets, cream and many more... Baklava is one of the first things that come to mind for many people when they say Turkey :) If you don't know, you should definitely try this crispy flavor. The thing that caught our attention the most was the process of making Halka dessert. This excellent dessert is one of the desserts of Turkish cuisine, made by deep-fried oil. It is a kind of Tulumba. This excellent dessert, which used to be only available in peddlers, is now available in bakeries and in many different places. The ring dessert is similar to the churro in Mexican cuisine. However, the main difference is that Turkish street flavor tulumba is sweeter. First, the puff dough is prepared. The prepared dough is shaped with a special shaper and thrown into the hot oil. Here, the fried dough is dipped in sugar water and our dessert is ready. Turkey is in a tough food challenge with many countries on street food. Some of those: Indian street food, Korean street fod, mumbai street food, Pakistani street food, Chinese street food, Thailand street food, American street food... Which country's street food do you think is more delicious? Don't forget to subscribe to our channel and write your thoughts on our video.
