Cyberpunk 2077 Nomad Ep211 - Things Done Changed (No Commentary)

So in the end, despite so many insisting that "There are no happy endings in Cyberpunk", the players were able to twist the developers arm enough to get one included anyway.

"B-but V can't use cyberware anymore!"

Correct. V is now completely normal AND has a better appreciation for the life they have. Win.

"But everyone V knew is either gone or doesn't have time for them!"

Panam ain't shit. Out of all the people the player can call from the FIA clinic, she's the only one that doesn't pick up the phone. Everyone else at least can answer the call and find out where V has been for the last two years. Kerry feels bad about being on tour and offers to help V later. Judy openly is happy for V being cured and offers to catch up with them if they ever come to Pittsburg. Even when wallowing in self-loathing over his decision to sell NCPD dirt to Trauma Team, River at least manages to have a quick chat.

How is this negative? The lines from V about their life being over? They just woke up from a coma after two years and got hit with a bombshell about losing all their cybernetic abilities. Nobody is going to be all sunshine and roses in that situation. But by the time they're sitting on the steps taking with Misty, I'm noticing a definite shift to the positive in how they talk.
