Need for Speed Most Wanted: Legend, But No Masterpiece

Need for Speed Most Wanted is the best NFS ever, or so die-hard NFS fans claim.
Since it's release in 2005, it has become the best selling entry in the franchise, has received significant critical acclaim and built up several generations of racers, but is it really as good as everyone claims, or are those just rose tinted glasses?
Well, today we figure that out!
Personally I've been playing Most Wanted since maybe 2012, and while it's not my favorite NFS game ever, it's pretty high up there. Partially because it's actually quite good, partially because most other NFS games are just bad. I'm looking at you, Undercover and Payback.
Well, to each their own I guess.
