The Forgotten Father

When we are in a close relationship, say with a parent, we make an effort to communicate with them. Our needs, our hopes and desires. And in return, they provide us with an answer to that. But do you realize that the same can be said about our relationship with God?

Today, Randy takes us to James 4, where we take a look at our line of spiritual communication with the Father: Prayer. You may be surprised at the different aspects of prayer hidden in this passage, and that is what Randy tries to reveal to us today.

Prayer is God's way in enlisting us in what He wants to accomplish, and our heavenly Father loves us so much; do not make Him "The Forgotten Father"

We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Our building was originally constructed in 1861 and is the oldest protestant church building in continuous use in our county.

There is no act of baptism, charity or observation of communion that deems us worthy. No amount of following the law of Moses, or the ever-popular observation of legalism in many churches today that will save us. That is us believing in ourselves, rather than what Christ did for us completely.
