One thing I consistently preach in Balance University classes is our leg strength is equally as valuable as GOLD... I could argue it's worth even more! And we must protect it by continually working to keep those legs strong and powerful. Our hearts, digestive systems and our ability to avoid unintended falls depends on the strength of those legs.

So, how strong are your legs? Perform this test to see how you stack up to your peers and if you considered a fall risk, according to the "David Geffen - School of Medicine at UCLA".

Test:
How many "sit-to-stands" can you perform in 30 seconds.
60-64 - Men 14+, Women 12+
65-69 - Men 12+, Women 11+
70-74 - Men 12+, Women 10+
75 - 79 - Men 11+, Women 10+
80-84 - Men 10+, Women 9+
85-89 - Men 8+, Women 8+
90+ - Men 7+, Women 4+
