Talking to Nashville Lawmakers: Are We Ignoring the REAL Cause of Mass Shootings?

February 2025 - Every time a mass shooting happens, the same cycle repeats—anti-gun organizations stage protests, demand more gun control, and put pressure on lawmakers. But are we even asking the right questions?

In this visit to the Tennessee Capitol, I sat down with Representative Monty Fritts, who continues to stand strong for our 2A rights despite facing relentless pressure from anti-gun activists. I want to thank them for defending our freedoms while also pushing for real solutions to violence.

The focus of this conversation? A bipartisan bill that would require a full toxicology report on mass shooters—with results transparently shared with the public. If we want to address mass violence honestly, we have to start looking at what’s actually driving these crimes, including the potential role of prescription drugs, illicit substances, and mental health factors.

Gun control isn’t the answer—the truth is. It’s time we change the conversation and start asking lawmakers the right questions. Let’s get real about mass violence.
