Editing a Bracketed Pano for an NBA Arena – Advanced Photoshop & Lightroom Techniques

What a fun shoot and an incredible opportunity! I had a three-day photography project at our local NBA arena, The Delta Center in Salt Lake City, capturing high-resolution images of the space. This particular shot is a single-point perspective panorama from level 4, designed to capture as much detail as possible.

To create this image, I shot five positions in the panorama, each with five bracketed exposures, resulting in a total of 25 images. In this video, I walk through the entire editing process, including:

The correct method for combining bracketed images for panoramas
How to align and blend multiple exposures for a seamless final image
Advanced Photoshop layering techniques for precise adjustments
Removing distractions and enhancing symmetry for a professional-quality final edit

This process required advanced Lightroom and Photoshop work, but the final image is well worth the effort. If you’ve ever wondered how to tackle low-light, high-dynamic-range panoramas in a massive space like an NBA arena, this is the deep dive you need.
