Temptations of a Great City is a Danish silent film from 1911, produced by Nordisk Film and directed by August Blom. The screenplay was written by the Aarhus librarian Erling Stensgaard (1876-1966) and his wife, Ljut Stensgaard. The film belongs to the genre known as "erotic melodrama" and was in the same genre family as another film by August Blom, The Dangerous Age, also from 1911. The film marked Valdemar Psilander's debut with Nordisk Film and became one of the company's most successful films.
