Michael Fish's NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast
Today looks quiet and cooler with finally some sunshine and highs in the low- to mid-50s. The wind will slowly be dying down as the day wears on. Late tonight, we could see a little light rain, but your evening should be fine. It will be cool with lows around 40, and 30s north. If there is a little precipitation late, the far northern part of Wisconsin could see a couple snowflakes mixing in. We'll have just a chance of a little light rain or drizzle on Friday with highs in the low-50s. Rain looks to roll back into the area on Friday night with lows in the upper-40s. Right now, it looks like we may start Saturday with a little light rain, but most of the afternoon looks okay. As far as Sunday, most of the rain may just miss us to the south. That could change a bit, but DON'T plan on a weekend washout. Weekend temps may struggle to make it to 60. With this unusually active pattern to start the month, there is the potential for this October to be one of the wettest Octobers on record, and we're just getting started.
