ScriptureExplanation
"When a person dies, they no longer have any thoughts, feelings, or awareness. They do not know what is happening around them, and they cannot feel happiness, sadness, pain, or anything else. Their love, hate, and jealousy all disappear. Just like Ecclesiastes 9:5 says, 'The living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all.' This means the dead are in a deep, peaceful sleep, with no memory or emotions, and they are not aware of the world anymore."
