A Blessing and a Curse – Deut. Chpt. 28

If the book of Deuteronomy has a focal point, or a bottom line if you will, it would be chapter 28. What Moses says in this part of his final sermon is what Israel's entire future depends on. And when I say that, I am referring to national Israel – the corporate collection. Despite what national Israel chooses to do or not do, each individual Israeli has a free will and the ability to choose.

Choose what? As we will see today, a blessing or a curse. Chapter 28 gives God's people a choice between the two. The choice is made by what God's people believe and how they behave. What they believe and how they behave will determine whether they are blessed or cursed.
