Old Testament Salvation

In this Sunday School lesson, covering Gal. 3:6-7, we see how clear the Scriptures are that Old Testament saints were not justified by their obedience to God's commands, but by their "hearing of faith". First, we look at Paul's reference to Abraham's faith in the promised Messiah. Then, we look at this and other Scriptures that clearly state that Jews, both in the Old and New Testament, can only be justified by their faith in the promised Messiah, contrary to the heresies of Scofieldite Dispensationalism and Dual Covenantism. Then, we see that Abraham's spiritual children cannot be confused with Abraham's physical children, and that God still has a merciful plan in store for the physical descendants of Abraham, contrary to the unbiblical doctrine of Replacement Theology.

This lesson was taught by Bro. Jade Lazaruis on 1-19-2025 at Independence Baptist Church in Ocala, Florida. Bible text: Gal. 3:6-7.
