Detroit students skipping class on Count Day to protest

Today is Count Day in the state of Michigan but some students are protesting.  Maya Solomon, a senior, and nearly two dozen Detroit students skipped school and held what they're calling "freedom classes" at the Cass Corridor Commons. "I'm really just sick of school and how they keep us in the dark and how there's no answers for anything, there's just Band-Aid solutions," Solomon said.
