God calls us to repentance. Thank you, Lord!

God loves us so much that He calls us to repentance. He wants us to confess our sins and then turn away from them. He sent His son Jesus Christ to die for us, and the Bible tells us in Romans 10: 9-11,

“That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses resulting in salvation.”

There is only one way to God and one way to be saved. That is through Jesus Christ.

“The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours;
The world and all it contains, You have established them.”

Psalm 89:11

“For You created my innermost parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to You, because I am awesomely and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.”

Psalm 139: 13-14

“He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me?” Peter was hurt because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus *said to him, “Tend My sheep.”

John 21:17

“Then Peter came up and said to Him, “Lord, how many times shall my brother sin against me and I still forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy-seven times.”

Matthew 18: 21-22

“What do you think? If any man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains, and go and search for the one that is lost? And if it turns out that he finds it, truly I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that have not gone astray. So it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven for one of these little ones to perish.”

Matthew 18: 12-14
