From Olive to Oil: How to Separate Oil and Water After Pressing - Home Olive Oil production

In this video, I show you how to build a simple DIY oil separator to separate olive oil from water after pressing. It’s a follow-up to my previous video, "Making Olive Oil at Home from Start to Finish – The Full Process," where I covered the entire production process. Now, I’m tackling the next step: separating the oil.
Using materials like a couple of plastic bottles, irrigation taps, and some tubing, I walk you through building a basic, effective oil separator. I’ll show you how to put it all together step by step, with tips on cutting, sealing, and setting it up to avoid leaks. The best part? It’s super cheap to make and works really well.
I’ll also explain how to stabilize your separator and troubleshoot common issues, so you get it running smoothly. If you’re into DIY projects or making olive oil at home, this is a great solution for finishing your process without needing expensive equipment.
