Can we Brits successfully recreate the ultimate American-style loaded potatoes for the first time? Today, the H family is diving into this iconic American comfort food, loaded with ALL the classic toppings! Will we get it right, or will it be a delicious disaster? Let’s find out!

WHAT ARE LOADED POTATOES?
Loaded potatoes (or loaded baked potatoes) are a staple in American cuisine, especially at BBQ joints, steakhouses, and game-day gatherings. These fluffy baked potatoes are piled high with toppings like crispy bacon, melted cheddar cheese, sour cream, butter, and fresh chives. Some versions even include pulled pork, chili, or ranch dressing for the ultimate flavor bomb!

HOW WE MADE THEM:
We followed a classic Southern American loaded potato recipe, baking our spuds until perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Then, we loaded them up with:

✅ Crispy bacon
✅ Sharp cheddar cheese
✅ Sour cream
✅ Chopped green onions
✅ Salted butter
✅ A surprise topping twist!
