The Sex Addiction Industry

Are High School Sex-Ed courses designed to turn teenagers into sex addicts by creating an enticing taboo and reinforcing low standards for self control? When a guidance counselor tells you to "be responsible" with your teenage girlfriend and then hands you a bag of condoms, what message is he really sending? Will setting expectations low for abstinence lead teens down a path that leads to multiple short-term sexual relationships and the baggage that comes with it? And does it stand to reason that major industries that sell Contraceptives, Abortions, STD/STI treatments, pornography, and therapy for emotional trauma have a hand in getting kids hooked on sex early to create life-long customers? They certainly profit off of it, and that's reason enough to dig deeper.
