Have you left the cloud yet?

I have stated before that I am unable to wrap my head around the idea of paying someone else to manage what I hold sacred that I will never meet. Also most grown adults are so entrenched in windows and mac os that they won't even try to explore other alternatives that are free and you don't have to keep paying an annual renewal fee for a right to access license just to keep using the computer that they bought outright. I have hand people in my life who no longer speak to me because they know I am right but they won't change their stance and keep flushing money down the toilet.
