NBC26 Storm Shield Weather Forecast

October kicked off on a wet & cool note!! Temps were running 5-10° below normal & some spots picked up an inch of rain!! Any lingering shower or T'storm will end as the night wears on tonight. Overnight lows will bottom out in the upper 40s to lower 50s with breezy conditions. Tuesday, we'll have a little break in the action during the day with highs in the upper-50s. We will see lots of clouds & perhaps a little spotty drizzle or a few sprinkles. A warm front approaches late Tuesday night ahead of the next low pressure system on the way. This could touch off an overnight shower or T'storm with lows actually rising from the lower 50s. Wednesday, it looks like many of us will end up in the warm sector of this system as our temperatures pop up well into the upper 70s to lower 80s in spots. With this though, we'll see a chance of T'storms redeveloping as the day wears on. We may have to keep an eye on anything that would develop. Thursday looks quiet & cool with some sunshine!! Rain rolls back in on Friday & continues into next week..
