Audiences Are Ditching DISNEY+ Following String of TERRIBLE Shows

During Disney’s latest investor earnings call, it was announced that their Disney+ streaming platform lost over 700,000 subscribers this past quarter. While this loss represents a significant number, when viewed in the context of their total subscriber base, it appears less severe.
Disney CEO Bob Iger said when they launched Disney+ in 2020 that the streaming platform alone would achieve profitability by Q4 of 2024, a goal they have yet to meet based on the latest reports from Disney. In recent quarters, Disney has consolidated streaming totals from Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ to report combined profitability. However, despite these efforts, the original programming on Disney+ has struggled to attract a substantial audience. Additionally, frequent price hikes by the company have further contributed to subscriber leaving the platform.
