This is one of those important skills you, your kiddo, uncle Bob, everyone needs to know. Rounding and estimating… Can’t go wrong with this skill. Above and beyond the need to problem solve, these operations are used in everyday life. You might not always need to know how to find the derivative of an exponential function, and it’s not every day where topology will actually help you with your taxes, let alone your laundry, but you will round, whether it’s your finances, weight, or gas mileage.
