USAID's Samantha Power Describes Being Laid Off To Rachel Maddow

It's always sad when someone loses their job, but it's a little less sad when it's a lifetime bureaucrat for the federal government. Nobody gets fired from the federal government … until now. USAID has updated its website informing everyone that they have been fired. Samantha Power’s financial disclosure filed in January 2021 showed her assets were estimated at $6.7 million to $16.5 million. Today, in 2024, her net worth is estimated at up to $30 million. How does a government job multiply wealth like that? Her salary at USAID was $180,000 annually. —— Samantha Power. What can one say? She should never have been let near any governmental agency. If Samantha Power had any integrity, she would address the misuse of taxpayer funds at USAID to push a radical leftist agenda, and admit it was wrong to give $8M to Politico! Government people are terrified of the private sector. In the private sector you have to actually work. Those damn private sector people expect results!!! OMG the horror! 😳 She has enough old money and grift money to where she will not see any change in her standard of living. Where as the rest of us do not have that type of arrangement, because we believe in an honest day's work and would not accept funds better used for Americans. Samantha Power did not come to USAID for the money, she only makes $183,100 and perks. I bet she had more than that in the end. The curtains shielding USAID from scrutiny have been pulled back. Per Marco Rubio, "They have basically evolved into an agency that believes that they're not even a U.S. government agency...they're completely unresponsive. They just don't consider that they work for the US."

Ah, her great concern is, people in other countries. Says it all. No mention of fiscal responsibility to the American people. Sorry, the money laundering operation has ended. Well, if honesty would’ve been a top priority, things probably would’ve played out differently. This feeling is like when a cable newscaster is let go. All Power has to do is start up a Substack and a podcast and she'll be able to make ends meet.
